The sale of 10 lambs by Wanalta’s Ogden family has raised more than $3000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
The money will be added to the proceeds from a charity shearing day due to be held in July and then sent on to the appeal.
The last fundraising effort in 2019 achieved almost $67,000.
Katrina Ogden said the pen of lambs was sold at Bendigo on March 29 to Midfield Meats for $315/head.
She said they were looking forward to the shearing day in July or August, at Bill and Val Barlow’s property, as last year’s had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
